Hydraulic Institute Standards (HIS)

A collection of pump design, material, performance, and testing conventions and procedures developed by the Hydraulic Institute. The standards are meant to assist those who specify pumps and design pumping systems to ensure field installations are economical, efficient, reliable, and safe. The Hydraulic Institute is the largest association of pump original equipment manufacturers and supplier companies in North America.
