Maximum Continuous Stable Flow (Centrifugal Pump)

General maximum continuous flow guidelines. Only use if OEM’s recommended flow limits are unavailable.

The highest flow at which a centrifugal pump can be safely operated for extended periods of time. Internal recirculation, cavitation, and vibration can occur when pumps are operated beyond this flow.

Compare to Minimum Continuous Stable Flow.

See Suction-Specific Speed to convert US-specific speed values to metric-specific speed values, and vice versa.
