Through-Driving Shaft

A shaft drive arrangement in which rotary power is supplied to several process machines coupled together in series. Power is supplied to the input shaft of the first machine, then the surplus horsepower is then used to drive another machine connected to the opposite end of the first machine’s shaft, and so on.
