Frequency (Waveform)

The repetition rate of a periodic event, usually expressed in cycles per second (Hz), revolutions per minute, cycles per minute, or multiples of a rotational speed (orders). Detected frequencies are often compared to orders of machine running speed. (Example: 1X is used to denote at the rotational speed, 2X for twice the rotational speed, etc.)
