Balance Valve
A throttling device used around fluid movers. They can be designed to:
- Control the differential pressure across a rotor to minimize thrust loads,
- Equalize the flows of multiple centrifugal pumps or compressors operating in parallel,
- Equalize flows in HVAC chiller systems,
- Equalize flows in plumbing systems.
