Ball Valve

A valve that controls the flow of a liquid or gas by means of a rotary ball that has a flow path machined through its center. Fluid flow through the valve is maximized when the hole in the ball lines up with the flow path and is completely blocked when the hole in the ball is rotated 90 degrees from the maximum flow position.
