DSA

An abbreviation for Dynamic Signal Analyzer. An analyzer that uses digital signal processing and fast Fourier transform to display frequency components of a rapidly fluctuating input signal. It is used to analyze vibration, dynamic pressure, and dynamics strain waveforms. DSAs also display the time domain and phase spectrum and can usually be interfaced to a computer.
