E,  Flow Element

Eductor

A jet-type pump without any moving parts used to pump out a liquid or gas. A suction pressure is created, due to the Venturi effect, at an internal flow nozzle. The local pressure reduction causes the desired fluid to be sucked into the suction connection, mixed into the flow stream, and then guided out of the discharge connection. Motive fluids can be water, gas, or steam.
