Exhaust Gas Analyzer

An instrument used to measure oxygen (O2) and carbon monoxide (CO) levels in an internal combustion engine’s exhaust, caused by an incorrect combustion. Measuring the O2 and CO levels immediately after the exhaust gas leaves an engine and before it flows through a catalyst bed can provide an indication of how lean or rich the engine is burning and assist in engine tuning for optimal combustion performance. Engine exhaust emissions results can also be used to prove emissions compliance to regulatory authorities.
