Multiphase Pump

A pump designed to handle the complete production flow from a well (oil, natural gas, water, or sand) without the need for separation equipment near or at the wellhead. Their use can greatly reduce the costs associated with the surface facilities handling multiphase production streams. Screw pumps are commonly used in multiphase pumping applications.
