Oil Analysis

The process of monitoring the condition of equipment through the analysis of oil properties and other lubricants. Typically, oil analysis is conducted through the measurement of particulates in the oil or the chemical composition of the oil. It is commonly used for monitoring the condition of large gearboxes, engines, and transformers.
