Oil Sump Lubrication

A common lubrication method used on centrifugal pumps with anti-friction bearings. This design requires that an oil sump level be maintained at a constant level so that oil can be splashed onto rolling element bearings by means of either slingers/flinger rings or oil rings. The most common means of maintaining a level is through the use of a constant-level oiler.
