Packing (Reciprocating Compressor)

A packing ring set consisting of a radial-cut ring set and a butt-tangent cut ring set. A radial-cut backup ring is added to prevent extrusion of the ring material.

 

A series of segmented, non-metallic, or metallic rings used to prevent compressor rod leakage.
