Pressure-Volume (P-V) Diagram

The pressure-volume (P-V) diagram is a preferred tool for analyzing compressor performance. It depicts the relationship of the pressure and volume of the gas within one end of a cylinder of a reciprocating compressor during the displacement of the piston.

Also known as P-V Analysis.
