Flow Element,  P,  Pressure Pulsations

Pulsation Dampener (Reciprocating Compressor)

The engineered devices attached to reciprocating compressors that even out the pressure extremes generated by means of acoustic filtering. In doing so, the useful lifetime of the compressor and piping are increased, and periodic plant inspection requirements decrease. Pulsation dampeners also reduce noise levels radiated from the piping.
