Turbocharger

A centrifugal air compressor powered by a high-speed turbine, driven by an engine’s exhaust gases. The compressor’s main function is to increase the mass of air entering the engine, thereby improving its power and efficiency. Turbochargers are popularly used with internal combustion engines, such as four-stroke engines.
