Predictive Maintenance (PdM)

A coordinated collection of analytical methods used to determine the condition of in-service equipment to predict when maintenance should be performed (Examples: vibration analysis and oil analysis). Or, a maintenance process based on machinery inspection, monitoring, and prediction. Machine outages for maintenance are planned depending on condition-based predictions.
